Wondering about the projects your child will be doing?
More information from all grade levels coming soon.

Second Grade:
Second grade will be doing the Gulf of Maine animal sculpture project.  We have do this same project for the past two years.   Ms. Southard states, "What I like about working with the artists is that they help us integrate large art projects, such as sculpture, into science and literacy.  This is one of my favorite units of the year because it is all encompassing--reading, writing, science, art.  Our students love it as well.  They love becoming experts on an animal that no one else is an expert on.  They also enjoy how the unit immerses them in the curriculum.  And, of course, they love the artists.  Leah and Sarah let them try things out and be themselves.  I'm so thankful we have these wonderful artists to help lead us!"
Third Grade: We are kicking off our Side x Side project on October 2nd.  We will be creating a mural and a visual performance piece on "Bees throughout History!"  Can't wait to see that mural!
