Trimester Awards

At the end of each of our three trimesters, we recognize the Riverton students for excellence, good citizenship, and perfect attendance. Certificates will be awarded for achievement of the various criteria of the Learning Results.

At a special awards assembly, a child from each class who has demonstrated good citizenship qualities is awarded a Good Citizen certificate and a ribbon. Students who have put forth good effort are awarded a Good Effort certificate. A Perfect Attendance certificate is given to those students who have attended school every day and who have arrived at school on time. Students who have demonstrated excellence in one of the seven Learner Expectations will also be commended.

Our final assembly of the year also recognizes those students who have successfully participated in school activities such as student council and student newspaper. Riverton students are expected to meet high standards. Our awards assemblies are one way in which we celebrate their continuing efforts and achievement.
