Important Safety Notice

Work on the Riverton School Renovation Project will officially begin on
March 26, 2006 with the arrival of Summit Engineering's Geo-tech consultant and RE Colman's backhoe to take soil samples as a first step to the foundations for our new additions.

Digging Schedule March 24, 9:00 am- Noon The lower entrance of the building will be closed on Friday from 9:00am to Noon. All Branch Library and Pool patrons should use the front library entrance or the school's main entrance. March 24, 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm The Primary Playground will be closed from 12:30 pm to 3:00pm

Friday, March 24 is an early release day with noon dismissal. This day was chosen for the necessary soil sample to maximize student safety. No digging will take place until students are in the classroom at 9:00 am. There will be no recesses during class time that morning. Digging will cease for a safe dismissal from noon - 12:30. Digging will resume after 12:30 pm when students have gone home.
