Every student at Riverton School
will have one class period of music each week. We strive to establish
vocal repertoire and develop skills relative to singing:
- Develop the ability to understand and describe a listening experience in musical terms.
- Develop a working knowledge of musical notation and symbols.
- Develop the ability to play musical instruments.
- Provide experiences for self-expression, alone and with others through music.
- Grow in the appreciation and understanding of the role of music in society.
